New Photos From The Avengers Don’t Reveal Much

The stills don't fuel any speculation as to the plot, but one photo does capture Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) looking less than at his peak. Spider-like veins seem to be escaping from under his eye patch leading fans to believe that something not-so-healthy is happening to this old wound.

Marvel has released cleaned-up, high resolution versions of five photos from The Avengers that appeared a while back in Empire Magazine.

The stills don’t fuel any speculation as to the plot, but one photo does capture Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) looking less than at his peak. Spider-like veins seem to be escaping from under his eye patch leading fans to believe that something not-so-healthy is happening to this old wound.

Other photos simply give fans a glimpse of their favorite superheroes – Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo and Robert Downey, Jr. – engaging in less than thrilling behavior. Despite their less than exciting nature, eager will likely embrace the new shots with open arms.

The Avengers is scheduled to be release on May 4, 2012. Check out the photos below.
