Possible Plot Synopsis For Justice League Part One Reveals The Villain

Casting websites tend to be very hit and miss when it comes to the synopses they post about the movies they're seeking out extras for, but they've been right on a number of occasions in the past, so it's certainly possible that the following details about Zack Snyder's Justice League Part One are accurate.

Casting websites tend to be very hit and miss when it comes to the synopses they post about the movies they’re seeking out extras for. That being said, they have been right on a number of occasions in the past, so it’s certainly possible that the following details about Zack Snyder’s Justice League Part One are accurate. Of course, there’s also a chance that they plucked this out of thin air, so it’s definitely worth taking with a pinch of salt for the time being.

If accurate though, the below synopsis confirms that Darkseid is going to be the main villain in the Justice League’s debut (previous rumours pointed to it being Brainiac, with Darkseid following in the second instalment). The synopsis also sheds some light on the villain’s plan, and it doesn’t sound all that different to the kind of thing his comic book counterpart gets up to.

Check it out after the jump and see what you think. Be warned though, it does contain minor spoilers. So if you want to go in with a completely blank slate, not knowing anything about the plot, you should click away now.

The world’s greatest heroes are assembled to form the Justice League, to combat a threat beyond each individual’s capabilities. The story involves Darkseid planning the destruction of Earth by blasting it with a ray that’ll move Apokolips into the Earth’s place.

It remains to be seen whether or not this synopsis is accurate, but with Justice League set to begin production in the UK next year, we’ll likely find out sooner rather than later. In The New 52 continuity, Darkseid was the first villain the team faced and he’s by far their most iconic, so using him here does make a lot of sense.

Only time will tell, though, but once we have more concrete updates, we’ll be sure to let you know.
