We recently learned that our first look at Star Wars: The Last Jedi will most likely come during this year’s Star Wars Celebration in Orlando, but what will that teaser contain? It’s too soon to say for sure, especially as this movie hasn’t suffered from anywhere near as many leaks as Star Wars: The Force Awakens. However, as you can see below, a few minor details about the trailer seemingly shed some light on which characters we can expect to see receive the spotlight.
It’s possible this description of sorts only scratches the surface of what’s to come, but we can now at least assume that new looks at Luke, Leia, Finn and Rey will be included here. This first preview of Star Wars: The Last Jedi keeping the focus solely on them would certainly be a pretty interesting move, but one which makes some sense given the parallels between the characters.
Shots of Luke and Rey’s interactions promise to be a lot of fun, and it’ll definitely be good to see what Finn is up to given where he was the last time we saw him. How Disney and Lucasfilm promote Leia here after Carrie Fisher’s tragic death remains to be seen, but hopefully, it’ll be in a tasteful way.

There are rumors that Luke will not be in the first #TheLastJedi teaser. We heard the contrary. Luke, Leia, Finn and Rey will be there…
