A new poster has been unveiled by Paramount Pictures for Anchorman: The Legend Continues, featuring a staple of Ron Burgundy’s appearance – his mustache.

In part two of of the iconic anchorman’s legacy, Will Ferrell’s character makes a return to television after the ’70s have passed. He plans to make a bold impression as he takes on New York’s first all day news channel. Fan favorites from Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy will rejoin too, including quirky weatherman Brick Tamland  (played by Steve Carell), sports authority Champ Kind (David Koechner) and ladies man Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd).

Burgundy’s co-anchor and better half, Veronica Corningstone, portrayed by Christina Applegate, will be making a return as well. A number of other notable actors will be making an appearance such as Harrison Ford and Liam Neeson, who will assisted by the comedic talents of Kristen Wiig, Tina Fey and John C. Reilly, among others.

The sequel is under the direction of Adam McKay, who directed the first entry and has since collaborated with Ferrell in Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, Step Brothers, and The Other Guys.

It has been nearly a decade since we first met San Diego’s most popular newsman. For a long while since its release audiences were slipping lines like “I love lamp,” and “I’m in a glass case of emotion!” into casual conversation. It was only a matter of time before the beloved comedy was graced with a sequel.

Normally the thought of an expansion to such a successful film would be cringe inducing. This time, however, there are so many comedic heavy hitters contributing to the second installment that the expectations of viewers are sky-high. Either Anchorman: The Legend Continues will be one of the best comedies of the year, or the biggest disappointment.

A new trailer is expected to be released online by tomorrow. So be sure to check back here as we’ll post it as soon as it’s available.
