When Paul Walker tragically passed away, most of the attention was focused on Fast & Furious 7, and understandably so. However, the actor had several other films in the works as well at the time of his death. Brick Mansions, which is coming to theatres this Spring, was one of them.

Thankfully, Walker completed the film before he died and now, Relativity is gearing up a marketing campaign to remind people of the project. We saw the first photo appear online last week and today, we have the very first poster, which arrives ahead of tomorrow’s trailer debut.

Co-starring are RZA and David Belle and in case you’re not familiar with it, Brick Mansions is a remake of the truly superb French action film District B13, a personal favorite of mine. Directed by Camille Delamarre, and written by Luc Besson and Bibi Naceri, the plot revolves around Walker’s undercover cop, who needs to disarm a ticking bomb in the titular tenement.

I’m always hesitant when it comes to remakes, especially remakes of films I truly love. Brick Mansions, however, sounds promising. Several key players from the original are on board (Belle, Besson, Naceri), which is always a good sign, and with Belle taking a prominent role, you can bet that we’ll be seeing more of those jaw-dropping parkour stunts that made District B13 so memorable.

Brick Mansions hits theatres on April 25th. Check out the first poster below and let us know if you’re looking forward to the remake.
