Two new posters have been released for Clint Eastwood’s J. Edgar. The film, which is already attracting Oscar buzz for star Leonardo DiCaprio, is now only just over a month away and it has everyone talking, and for all of the right reasons. It’s already being hailed as DiCaprio’s Oscar winning performance and early reports say that the supporting performances are equally as good.
Honestly, it’s shocking that DiCaprio hasn’t won an Oscar yet, with so many wonderful performances on his resume. My personal favorite is his chilling depiction of Howard Hughes in Martin Scorsese’s The Aviator, which many people claim should have won him the Academy Award. I’m truly hoping that this is his year, he deserves it more than most.
J. Edgar stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Armie Hammer, Naomi Watts, Judi Dench, Josh Lucas and Ed Westwick and will have a limited release on November 9th, before a wide release on November 11th.
