Power Rangers Morph Into Action On New Character Posters

It's been a long wait for the first footage from Dean Israelite's upcoming Power Rangers reboot, but it's finally within reaching distance as Lionsgate is set to premiere it tomorrow during the film's New York Comic-Con panel. It’s been a long wait for the first footage from Dean Israelite’s upcoming Power Rangers reboot, but it’s finally within reaching distance as Lionsgate is set to premiere it tomorrow during the film’s New York Comic-Con panel. Anticipation is high, to be sure, and now, to build the hype even more, the studio has released a batch of character posters featuring the titular heroes.

These are far from the first pieces of promotional material we’ve seen from the movie. In fact, we’ve had quite a bit, but they’re solid pieces of artwork nonetheless, with each one showing off one of the Rangers striking a pose. We’ve got Dacre Montgomery as the Red Ranger, Naomi Scott as the Pink Ranger, Ludi Lin as the Black Ranger, Becky Gomez as the Yellow Ranger, and RJ Cyler as the Blue Ranger.

They’ll be joined in the film by the likes of Elizabeth Banks, Bryan Cranston and Bill Hader, though none of them have received a poster. The focus here is placed squarely on those Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers, and that’s absolutely fine with us. The posters may not show off very much, but we do get a look at the new costumes, which I’m a fan of, and they simply serve as yet another reminder that we may be in for a very impressive reboot come next year. As of now, we’re feeling pretty hopeful.

Dean Israelite’s Power Rangers will be with us on March 24th, 2017. Stay tuned to We Got This Covered over the weekend as we’ll have the Comic-Con footage for you as soon as they make it available online.
