Rachel McAdams Joins Richard Curtis’ About Time

Rachel McAdams is now attached to another romantic comedy, About Time. The film comes to us from writer Richard Curtis (Notting Hill, Love Actually), and will start production in London this June. McAdams is replacing Zooey Deschanel, who had been linked to the project for months.

According to THR, the story centers on a man who has the ability to time-travel. Is it just me or have we seen this movie before? Oh yes, The Time Traveler’s Wife. Here’s hoping that this project will be distinctly different from the aforementioned film.

Alongside McAdams, Domhnall Gleeson will be playing the time traveler. This also appears to be the first film to make Gleeson a leading man. If one is wondering why the name sound familiar, there are two possible reasons: This could because of his famous father, Brendan Gleeson, or due to his roles as Bill Weasley in the last two Harry Potter films.

Additional cast members include Bill Nighy, Margot Robbie, Lydia Wilson and Vanessa Kirby. No release date is set yet but we’ll keep you posted when we know more.
