Rambo V: Last Blood Meets 3 From Hell In Incredible Fan Trailer

Rambo V: Last Blood has been paired with 3 From Hell in a bloody new fan trailer, and it's a real treat for fans of both franchises.

Hot on the heels of the Rambo V: Last Blood vs. Godzilla: King of the Monsters mashup trailer, we now have Stallone taking on the 3 From Hell gang. It’s easy to see why JoBlo Horror decided to throw together the two previews as Rambo From Hell, as both promise heaps of violence, albeit with Rob Zombie’s effort likely to have more black humour. Given the brutal tone of the Rambo V: Last Blood tease though, it’s certainly going to compete with 3 From Hell in terms of action.

The fan trailer begins with Last Blood‘s reintroduction to John Rambo, as Stallone’s character gears up for another, potentially final, mission. In this take, though, it’s the gruesome Firefly family who are behind Rambo’s tragedy, with the video splicing his voiceover into footage of the clan. Credit also to the trailer for finding some suitable matches for Rambo’s various arrow-shooting and knife-sharpening moves against the insanity of the Fireflys.

Of course, the real Last Blood will see Stallone take on a Mexican drug cartel to rescue a kidnapped child, helped by Paz Vega’s reporter Carmen Delgado. Early clips from the movie also tell us that Stallone’s Rambo hasn’t lost any of his edge as he shows off his spear-throwing skills. The prospect of the hero taking on an army of cartel members certainly has us intrigued, and it may not be the last we see of the Vietnam veteran.

By comparison, 3 From Hell picks up directly from 2005’s The Devil’s Rejects, presumably with the Firefly family still being pursued by the law. Initial glimpses also suggest that some of the movie will take place behind bars, although so far we don’t know too much about the details of the third entry in the series that began with House of 1000 Corpses. Still, our bets are on there being blood, and lots of it.

Rambo V: Last Blood will hit screens on September 20th this year, while 3 From Hell should also appear in the same month. Which movie are you most excited about, though, and could Rambo take the Firefly gang down in a fight? As ever, share your thoughts in the comments section below.
