Forced to get their ducks in a row in anticipation of their sister’s big day, Efron and DeVine headline Jake Szymanski’s matrimonial comedy as two brothers in dire need of plus-ones. Casting the net far and wide, the bumbling duo even find themselves on the Wendy Williams Show advertising an open invitation to any single woman that has what it takes to impress both their mother and sister.

One desperate viral plea later and the pair are introduced to Alice and Tatiana – played here by Anna Kendrick and Aubrey Plaza, respectively – in hilarious fashion, and it’s only when the newfound couples jet off to Hawaii that Mike and Dave consider that they may have been duped for a free holiday in the sun.

Set for release in July, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates marks a reunion between Dirty Grandpa co-stars Zac Efron and Aubrey Plaza, and while Mike and Dave certainly contains its fair amount of silly humor, there’s much more personality to be found here than in Dan Mazer’s dire, borderline-offensive romp.

Also starring Stephanie Beard, Sam Richardson and Branscombe Richmond, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates will spark matrimonial chaos when Jake Szymanski’s comedy opens on July 8.

Mike-And-Dave

Hard-partying brothers Mike (Devine) and Dave (Efron) place an online ad to find the perfect dates (Kendrick, Plaza) for their sister’s Hawaiian wedding. Hoping for a wild getaway, the boys instead find themselves outsmarted and out-partied by the uncontrollable duo.
