Wow! I’m not too entirely sure what this movie is about, other than a raid and lots of action but, boy, does it look incredible!
The Raid is currently one of the films playing at the Toronto International Film Festival and, according to Bad Ass Digest, has received great reviews from its first screening.
Merantau director Gareth Evans directs this action film which carries the tagline “1 Ruthless Crime Lord. 20 Elite Cops. 30 Floors of Hell.” That sounds generic, but the choreography and action still look amazing. I just hope they steer clear of the Linkin Park score that is used in the trailer.
The Raid, will be released in Indonesia on January 19, 2012. There is no known U.S. release date. Check out the action-packed trailer below.
