Oh, yeah! The second full-length trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy lands on Monday morning, but it looks like Disney and Marvel will be releasing little bits and pieces of it over the weekend. A 25-second teaser hit the web yesterday, and this afternoon we were treated to 17 more seconds. While there’s not a ton of new content to dissect, there are a few cool new shots showing Drax in action, as well as our first glimpse of what Bradley Cooper sounds like as Rocket Raccoon.
Cooper’s voice may not be what I initially pictured for the character, but I’ll need to hear more than two words before I pass judgment. He’s definitely a good addition to this cast, and the actor has the chance to bring a lot of personality to the part, so I’m interested to see more of his performance. Thankfully, Monday’s full trailer will offer up a bit more footage than we’re given here.
With one more day to go before the full trailer release, Marvel is sure to give us another short teaser tomorrow. Personally, I’d like to see more Groot, but we’ll see what happens.
Guardians of the Galaxy arrives in theaters on August 1st, 2014. The new trailer will arrive Monday morning at 10:30AM PST.
