Just some small casting news here. Actor Ryan Phillippe, whose actually not a bad actor, has signed on to the film Set Up, which also stars Bruce Willis and 50 Cent. It also looks rather dull and lame.
Stuntman Mike Gunther is going to be directing and the plot will see a group of friends that find themselves in the middle of a diamond heist that goes wrong. Basically, you can count on this one to be a dud. Like I said before, Phillippe isn’t particularly bad, he just seems to get stuck in shitty roles. Don’t expect much from Set Up, it might offer up some good mindless action but that’s about it.
