Samara Is Back In The First Trailer For Rings

When the The Ring first hit theatres back in 2002, it was something of a horror phenomenon. Still, the hunger for more from the franchise never quite died down and now, Paramount is back with Rings.

Starring Matilda Lutz, Alex Roe, Johnny Galecki, Aimee Teegarden, Bonnie Morgan and Vincent D’Onofrio, the first trailer for the threequel dropped tonight and as expected, it’s awfully creepy and promises a chilling ride. Continuing on with what we saw in the last two films, both Samara and the mysterious videotape are back for more fun, except this time, it’s discovered that “there is a “movie within the movie” that no one has ever seen before.”

Judging by the first trailer, it’s clear that Rings will certainly bring the scares, but will it manage to make the same impact that the original did all those years ago? That remains to be seen, but for now, we’re certainly intrigued to find out what Samara has been up to all this time.

Rings will put the fear into moviegoers when it descends into theatres on October 28th, 2016.
