Although he might’ve not been feeling so hot during the cataclysmic finale of Avengers: Infinity War, none other than Nick Fury was spotted in the United Kingdom on Sunday – alive and well – which, as luck would have it, is where the newest Avenger, otherwise known as Spider-Man, was last seen, too.

For those of you who don’t know, July 2nd marked the commencement of principal photography on Spider-Man: Far From Home, and by early August, both Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) had joined the cast of the twenty-third film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Unfortunately, the latter has yet to make an appearance across the pond, but on Sunday, Fury was espied in the London Borough of Newham. Well, at least his facial hair was.

As the weekend drew to a close, Samuel L. Jackson took to his official Instagram account and posted the below image of his view from the make-up chair, complete with Fury’s trademark facial hair, which can be seen pinned to a cushion.

At this point in time, the extent of his role in Spider-Man: Far From Home is unknown, but rest assured, Nick Fury will be keeping his one good eye locked on the eponymous web-slinger.

Supposedly taking place after the film colloquially referred to as Avengers 4, look for Spider-Man: Far From Home – which will co-star Jake Gyllenhaal as Quentin Beck/Mysterio – to swing into your local multiplex on July 5th, 2019.
