Phase four of the MCU is over, and what a ride it was. We move now into phase five which is kicked off by Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, but for all of you that might want a quick jog down memory lane, Miss Minutes have you covered in this blink and you miss it video.
Posted on the Marvel India YouTube page, the video starts by showing us multiple screens that feature clips from all across phase four whilst Miss Minutes gives us a quick introduction. “I’m Miss Minutes, and it’s my job to catch you up so let’s not waste another minute. Settle in, sharpen your pencils, and check this out.” Who better to bring us all up to speed than this AI created by He Who Remains, a version of Kang that watches over the timeline, seeing all?
We then get a wonderfully quick overview of phase four starting with the Scarlet Witch from Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. It then rapidly fires through many of the phase four projects, including Thor: Love and Thunder, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings as well as the shows Ms. Marvel and Moon Knight. Funnily enough, we don’t catch a glimpse of phase four’s highest earner, Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Then, in big, bold, red letters, it announces “Phase 4. Broadcast Terminated” marking the end of that part of the MCU before switching to big, green letters that read “Phase 5. Transmission Incoming.” We then catch glimpses of what is ahead of us, with shots from the trailer of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and the upcoming shows Secret Invasion and Loki season two.
As of yet, Marvel has not released any other footage from other projects they have in the works for phase five, such as The Marvels and Thunderbolts. Doubtless, though, fans will be awaiting the trailers eagerly as phase five will really start to build up towards the climactic ending of the Multiverse Saga with Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars in phase six.
