If you’ve been thinking to yourself, “Scooby-Dooby-Doo, where are you?” don’t fret – he’s right around the corner. In case you missed it, Warner Bros. Pictures has a brand-new Scooby-Doo movie in the works, though this new project is a little different from some of the other films you may have seen.

Unlike the live-action flicks that graced the big screen in the early 2000s, this upcoming feature – simply titled Scoob – will be harkening back to a more classic look, seeing as how it’s completely animated. Not much is known about the project at the time of writing, but it does feature a star-studded cast.

Aside from veteran voice actor Frank Welker, who’s returning to play the titular Great Dane, the rest of the cast includes Zac Efron, Will Forte, Amanda Seyfried, Gina Rodriguez, Tracy Morgan, and Mark Wahlberg, among others. Aside from the rest of the Scooby Gang, it looks like Warner Bros. has dug into Hanna-Barbera’s archive of characters, with Captain Caveman, Dynomutt, Dee Dee Sykes, Blue Falcon, and Dick Dastardly all set to make an appearance as well.

There’s not much else to go on, but earlier today, a full-sized promotional poster surfaced online, complete with a logo and look at Scooby’s design. The image comes courtesy of Daniel Richtman, who’s become well-known as a source of reliable inside scoops.

Admittedly, the new photo doesn’t show off a whole lot – in fact, we reported on a very similar-looking, if not slightly cropped version a few months back – but it’s a nice find for fans of the series, and confirms that the project is moving forward, as opposed to getting stuck in development hell.

Scoob will be released worldwide on May 15th, 2020, and we’ll be sure to keep you updated on any further news or announcements.
