‘Scream’ spooks the whole of TikTok after Ghostface shares a pulse-pounding ASMR knife session

Sit back and enjoy some slasher-based ASMR.

From undeniably catchy jingles to unfathomable pranks and challenges, the realm of TikTok is sometimes an unimaginable cesspool of strange occurrences. Although, perhaps no other stunt lately holds a candle to the odd behavior by Scream villain Ghostface — who recently performed on TikTok’s live platform by sharing an ASMR session while wielding a knife. And if the concept of randomly walking into houses feels eerie, then this session will spook you to the core.

While the stunt initially occurred over on TikTok, the pulse-pounding session found its way to Twitter, where users as far as the eye can see are sharing Ghostface’s eyebrow-raising antics. In the aforementioned video, the iconic horror villain can be seen scraping a sharp knife across a metal pan, all while making an interesting sound in the process. You can check out a glimpse of the video for yourself down below:

Unfortunately, it seems like Ghostface was having just a little too much fun spooking the entire app, seeing as the stunt eventually led to the Scream account being banned. Of course, one can only assume the ban was for the use of the knife on the platform, rather than the god-awful noises that the weapon was actually making.

But either way, the whole ordeal has made for some hilariously fun entertainment, which the majority of horror fanatics scattered across the app believe was done to create chatter around Scream 7. And while we have zero clues as to who will be donning the Ghostface ensemble this time around, it’s clear that our favorite blood-stained villain is here to stay.
