Sebastian Stan Strikes A Pose With The Infinity Gauntlet

In Avengers: Infinity WarThanos will finally step out of the shadows and take on the combined forces of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. After various teaser appearances and cameos dating all the way back to 2012’s The Avengers, there’s a lot of hype for the Mad Titan and he’s all set to be the biggest, baddest enemy the heroes of the Marvel universe have ever faced. We’re sure that the titular team will ultimately be able to take him down, but they’re certainly going to have a tough time doing so.

Not only will Thanos have the Black Order there to help him, but he’ll also be in possession of the incredibly powerful Infinity Gauntlet, which will be fully equipped by the time the film rolls around. It’ll essentially allow the uber villain to wreak havoc and do just about anything he wants, but what if one of the Avengers managed to get their hands on it? What would that look like?

Well, wonder no more, as Sebastian Stan has posted a cheeky new video on his Instagram account today and in it, he’s wielding the Mad Titan’s go-to weapon. Ok, fine, it’s just a toy version of the Gauntlet, but it’s sure to put a smile on the faces of Marvel fans regardless as they ponder what Bucky Barnes might do if he managed to snatch it from Thanos.

All kidding aside, the Avengers will have their hands full across Infinity War and its currently untitled sequel, with Thanos getting ready to unleash destruction and devastation on a level the likes of which we’ve never seen. Thankfully, then, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes will also have some nifty weapons to bring to the fight.

Be it Iron Man’s Model-Prime armorCap’s dual shields, or even the fearsome Stormbreaker, Thor’s new battle ax that looks set to take the place of Mjolnir, the titular gang will be well equipped when they face-off against the Mad Titan. Whether that’ll be enough to bring him down or not remains to be seen, but all will be revealed quite soon, as Avengers: Infinity War blasts into theaters on May 4th.
