Inviting you into his Animation Imaginatorium, Seth Rogen riffs on Walt Disney in the latest promo for R-rated animated film, Sausage Party.

Surfacing via the actor’s Twitter account, it’s as though the clip has emerged from some other, dark timeline where an animated romp in the vein of Sausage Party would be considered the norm for the House of Mouse – as opposed to time-honoured classics and family adventures – but as it is, Rogen brings that alternate reality close enough.

Check it out below.

Greg Tiernan (Thomas & Friends) and Conrad Vernon are orchestrating the edible chaos from behind the lens, bringing together a stellar voice cast that includes Rogen himself along with Kristen Wiig, Paul Rudd, Nick Kroll, Jonah Hill, James Franco, Edward Norton, Michael Cera, Bill Hader, Danny McBride, Salma Hayek, Craig Robinson.

Tiernan and Vernon will stage a decidedly NSFW Sausage Party when the animated feature opens on August 12. In the meantime, you can check in with our own verdict on a work-in-progress version of the movie.
