The featurette showed Pegg in some kind of large creature suit with the top part removed so he could cool down a bit and take part in the interview, meaning we never got to see what his alien character actually looked like – but this new Disney Channel promo seems to have remedied that.

The footage shows Daisy Ridley’s Rey conversing with an alien whose torso area definitely resembles the suit we saw Pegg standing in in that first video, only this time the head is visible. It hasn’t been confirmed that this handsome fella is in fact Pegg, but it seems to be the prevailing theory. That aside, there’s also a few new shots of Rey in the Falcon, and having a little chat with BB-8. An understanding of droid-speak is clearly a very useful skill to have.

Starring original cast members Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker, alongside franchise newcomers John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Lupita Nyong’o and Max von Sydow, Star Wars: The Force Awakens is set to be released on December 18th, 2015.
