It has been four years now since the release of James Bond’s last outing, Quantum of Solace. Now, the official Bond website 007.com has released the first poster for Skyfall and the publicity machine is stepping it up a gear.
Most of the stills that have been released so far have shown Skyfall going down a dark gritty road and the poster is continuing down the same route. It has a very simple look, with Bond walking down a tunnel which has the trademark inner lining of his signature gun, hinting that Skyfall will be reintroducing some classic Bond elements.
Daniel Craig returns as MI6’s most famous agent and joining him on his latest adventure are Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes, Javier Bardem, Naomie Harris, Albert Finney and Ola Rapace. Sam Mendes of American Beauty fame will direct.
If this poster still does not wet your appetite, a trailer will be released on Monday at 8:30am British Standard Time.
The highly anticipated Skyfall will arrive in theaters on October 26 in the UK and November 9 in the US and Canada.
