SnyderVerse conspirators have a field day with Zack Snyder, Henry Cavill, and Gal Gadot appearing at Netflix event

It's not happening.

As it does on an annual basis, Netflix has announced the line up of projects and high-profile stars set to descend upon this year’s TUDUM event, which has instantly and inevitably stoked the fires of the latest SnyderVerse conspiracy theory.

Refusing to accept in good faith that the DCU’s original mythology is currently drawing its last breaths ahead of The Flash racing into theaters in a couple of weeks is one thing, but clutching at straws and joining dots to reach for things that simply aren’t there is another kettle of fish, and those fish have long since gone past their sell-by date.

It goes without explaining that Snyder will be representing Rebel Moon, Gadot will be drumming up the buzz for espionage actioner Heart of Stone, and Cavill will be mounting one last promotional push for his final contributions to The Witcher, but the fact all three of them are showing up at the same event at the same time in the midst of demands for the SnyderVerse to be sold off to Netflix has created pretty much exactly the response you’d imagine in certain dark corners of the social media sphere.

While it can’t be ruled out 100 percent, 99 plus all the rest of the nines to infinity is where we’re realistically at, especially when TUDUM very rarely tends to drop anything that could justifiably be called a bombshell. After all, Arnold Schwarzenegger is all over this year’s trailer, so would the reveal of a second season for FUBAR even come as a surprise?
