Solo: A Star Wars Story may not have made a seismic dent in the box office, but it seems like those who showed up for the movie fell in love with it. In fact, just this week, fans started a #MakeSolo2Happen social media campaign, hoping to convince Lucasfilm to take another swing at the Alden Ehrenreich-starring prequel series.

Those behind the spinoff, from director Ron Howard to Chewbacca actor Joonas Suotamo, have been vocal in support for a Solo sequel as well and now, they can add co-screenwriter Jon Kasdan to the club.

Kasdan recently took to Twitter to thank those behind #MakeSolo2Happen and share details of his own planned sequel. If it gets greenlit, he hopes to reintroduce the Hutts (and maybe even Jabba himself) to the series, potentially setting up their rivalry with Darth Maul’s Crimson Dawn:

The post included an image of three different emblems, each representing a faction of Star Wars’ criminal underground: the Pykes, the Hutts, and Crimson Dawn. Though the Hutts have been an antagonistic force since the original 1977 movie, both the Pykes and the Crimson Dawn both made their first big screen appearance in last year’s Solo. Of course, Han and friends only exacerbated the rivalry between the two criminal organizations, a conflict that will surely be explored in future mediums, be it comics, TV, or future movies.

It’s unclear at the moment whether Disney or Lucasfilm have any interest in pursuing another Solo, but Han’s first and so far only independent feature set up multiple loose ends that fans hope to see wrapped up on the big screen. From Darth Maul’s return to Donald Glover’s universally praised take of Lando Calrissian, the Solo series has a lot going in its favor, if only the studio executives could see that.
