New Need For Speed Super Bowl Spot And Trailer Race Onto The Web

One film that I'm quite curious about is Need for Speed. On one hand, it's a video game adaptation, which almost always spells trouble. On the other hand, it stars Aaron Paul and Dominic Cooper, two actors who I really enjoy. Based on the footage we've seen so far it looks like this one could go either way, and the new Super Bowl spot and trailer that Disney released tonight don't do anything to change that.

Full of fast cars, explosions and driving stunts that I swear defy the laws of physics, what we see here is actually quite exciting. I’m not expecting great things from the film, but I think it will definitely deliver on some great blockbuster action that could be just the thing we need as we head out of the cold, dull winter months. I also think that it may be one of the first enjoyable video game adaptations, well, ever. At least, it certainly appears that way.

Need for Speed zooms into theatres on March 14th. Check out the new trailer and Super Bowl spot below and let us know what you think in the comments section.
