Spider-Man Avengers: Infinity War

Spider-Man: Far From Home Trailer Runtime Has Been Revealed

In anticipation of CCXP Brazil, TrailerTrack has confirmed the runtime of Spider-Man: Far From Home's teaser trailer: 2:30.

Upon first glance, you may be thinking that the early December corridor is far too soon for Marvel Studios to be promoting Spider-Man: Far From Home, particularly when you factor Captain Marvel and the super-secret Avengers 4 (Annihilation?) into the equation.

But with CCXP (Comic-Con Experience) headed to Sao Paulo, Brazil, this coming weekend, not to mention the fact that Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse is on the verge of its international rollout, and – whisper it – there’s never been a better time to premiere the first sneak peek of Peter Parker’s next big-screen adventure. And it’ll be coming in at two-and-a-half-minutes in length.

Indeed, according to TrailerTrack (h/t MCU Cosmic), that showcase will occur this weekend at CCXP Brazil, so if you’re wanting to set an alarm, you should note that Sony’s conference is expected to kick off around 7 pm GMT/2 pm ET/11 am PT on Saturday, December 8th. Remember, when it comes to Spidey, Sony’s in charge of marketing, with Marvel gaining free reign over the actual character.

Providing everything goes according to plan, Far From Home‘s trailer debut will cap off a phenomenal, near-unprecedented week for Marvel Studios, what with the new previews for Captain Marvel and Avengers 4. The former showcased its wares on Monday evening, while Joe and Anthony Russo’s Avengers sequel is expected to drop its first footage online tomorrow morning (9 am EST) and bring an end to weeks – nay, months – of pent-up demand.

Yes, there’s a crackle of excitement currently swirling around the MCU, thanks in large part to the dramatic, gut-wrenching finale of Avengers: Infinity War. And with another three Marvel heavy-hitters slated for 2019, the juggernaut franchise is in terrific shape as it braces for Phase 4. Next stop? Captain Marvel in the spring, before the focus shifts to Spider-Man: Far From Home – but not before Avengers 4 has its time in the sun.
