When a starry Marvel production like Spider-Man: Far From Home comes to town, you can readily expect a truckload of set photos (and maybe even some videos) to follow suit.

Such was the case earlier this week when the Jon Watts-directed sequel set up shop in Liberec, Czech Republic, where filming is expected to take place over the next 10 days. It’ll seemingly involve some sort of Christmas (?) carnival, as below you’ll be able to pore over a fresh helping of set pics (and, yes, one or two videos), that clearly show Peter Parker and Michelle ‘MJ’ Jones – Tom Holland and Zendaya, respectively – strutting their stuff.

There’s even been chatter that the purple/green lights on display are a subtle reference to Mysterio, the fan-favorite villain who’s expected to cross paths with Spidey while the latter is off gallivanting around Europe as part of his summer vacation. Otherwise known as Quentin Beck, he’ll be brought to life by the imitable Jake Gyllenhaal, though there’s no sign of his brainy big bad at the moment.

There’s little in the way of plot details up above and, frankly, that’s okay, as we’re still a full nine months out from the arrival of Spider-Man: Far From Home. And with Captain Marvel and Avengers 4 still cramming up the pipeline, there’s still much work to be done before Peter Parker helps ease the transition into Phase 4.

Indeed, the timing of Far From Home‘s release – that is, tucked away under the shadow of Avengers 4 – led some theorists to suggest that the 2019 follow-up is actually a prequel to Infinity War. But that’s simply not the case. Either way, though, all will be revealed on July 5th, and it’s no secret that the Marvel faithful are already counting down the days…
