With the release of each Marvel movie, Iron Man has upgraded his armour. There’s precedent for that in the comic books, but it’s also a clever marketing ploy by Disney to sell more toys. Despite the fact that the hero was seen in a familiar outfit in the Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer which released back in December, Marvel Legends action figures have now revealed yet another new look for Tony Stark.

As you can see in the gallery above, his armour has been given a makeover, which now means it more closely resembles the version from the Ultimate line of comics. It’s mostly the paint job which has been altered, but it’ll still be interesting to see if this new look carries over into Joe and Anthony Russo’s Avengers: Infinity War.

In addition to that, the toys also provide a detailed look at Peter Parker’s three suits in Spider-Man: Homecoming, with the regular version, an upgraded one with web wings, and his original homemade outfit (which comic book fans will quickly realize bears a resemblance to the costume worn by Ben Reilly, a.k.a. the Scarlet Spider) all part of this new line.

The Vulture also has his own figure, though if you hope to see him take flight, you’ll need to buy all of these toys due to the fact that each one comes with a part of his wings, so that collectors can ultimately transform him. We know, it’s not exactly ideal, but it makes sense from a business perspective.
