Spider-Man: Far From Home Teases Phase 4 With A Clever Easter Egg

It seems Marvel knows how anxious fans are to hear about Phase 4 of the MCU, considering this clever easter egg in Spider-Man: Far From Home.

If you already had the chance to check out Spider-Man: Far From Home, you’re aware how the latest MCU film sets the stage for future movies in the franchise. Without going into specifics, it’s safe to say that Peter Parker’s life has been flipped upside down, and when it comes to protecting the world, it looks like Nick Fury has a few grand ideas in mind.

Needless to say, the mid and end credits scenes are some of the best the MCU has seen – in fact, they were so good, it’s likely that most moviegoers missed some of the Easter eggs Marvel slipped in moments before. As ScreenRant reports, during Far From Home‘s finale, Peter prepares to meet up with MJ for a date in the city. As he’s swinging through New York, he zips by the old Avengers Tower, which has (presumably) been sold, as Tony Stark relocated the team’s headquarters upstate. Once Spidey sees MJ standing on a sidewalk, he lands in front of the building, which is undergoing construction.

One of the signs shown on screen reads “We Can’t Wait to Show You What Comes Next” as well as the numbers “1-2-3-?” – a pretty clear nod to the fourth phase in the MCU. Some fans are also speculating that the second sign is referring to the Fantastic Four, who could be making their debut in the next few years.

Thankfully, it doesn’t seem like we’ll have to wait all that long to find out what Marvel is up to. The studio is making an appearance at this month’s San Diego Comic-Con; the same goes for August’s D23 Expo. With a Phase 4 announcement around the corner, fans will finally get their first official news regarding upcoming movies, TV shows, and other projects. As always, we’ll keep you updated on the most important reveals.
