Two MCU Characters Will Soon Be Revealed To Be Skrulls

A source close to We Got This Covered has confirmed that two friendly faces are actually Skrulls in the upcoming film, Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Having to follow up something as successful as Avengers: Endgame must be a tough challenge. And that’s not to mention the uphill battle of facing off against its new-footage-filled re-release. Well, maybe other films will be left behind in the dust, but it’s safe to say that Spider-Man: Far From Home won’t have any trouble at the box office.

With that in mind, the latest Spidey flick’ll certainly have to maintain the energy and shock value of its predecessor. And from what we know so far, it’s sounding like it’ll have no problem delivering.

Several people on Reddit (and sources close to We Got This Covered) have confirmed that there are apparently two characters in the film who aren’t who they say they are and that they’re actually Skrulls. Before we go any further, though, we’ll warn you that the following will obviously contain spoilers from Spider-Man: Far From Home, so turn back now if you want to walk into the theater with a clean slate.

For those of you who are still with us, get ready, because apparently, Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders), two figures of law and order as past S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, are actually Skrulls in the upcoming movie.

We don’t know the details of the real characters’ exploits, but apparently the green-skinned aliens introduced to us in Captain Marvel are helping the two humans out with something in space and providing duplicates as cover on Earth while Fury and Hill are off on another mission in the cosmos.

This certainly is an interesting development, given that Nick Fury’s been looking like one of the main characters in Far From Home. Maybe the Skrull version won’t be so mad about being ghosted?

Unfortunately, we don’t have much more to go on aside from that, but we’ll figure out what Fury and Hill are up to soon, as Spider-Man: Far From Home swings into theaters on July 2nd.
