In doing so, Glover became the first black director to scoop up the latter achievement – specifically for the “B.A.N.” episode of Atlanta – since the awards ceremony began in 1959, so you can imagine how he must feel as he prepares to launch the show’s second season.

But before reprising as Earnest “Earn” Marks, a trip to Lucasfilm’s galaxy far, far away is on the cards for Ron Howard’s untitled Han Solo anthology pic. Glover stars as the young Lando Calrissian, the smooth-talking, yet loveable crook first introduced aboard Cloud City in the original Star Wars trilogy. All will be revealed once Han Solo shoots for theaters on May 25th, 2018.
