New Star Wars: The Force Awakens Promo Art Revealed With Tie-In Books

There aren't too many other franchises capable of having an entire day revolve around their products, but Star Wars toys and books have been popular for decades, so it wasn't really all that surprising.

Earlier this month, Disney and Lucasfilm held “Force Friday,” a day which saw the release of the first wave of merchandise for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. There aren’t too many other franchises capable of having an entire day revolve around their products, but Star Wars toys and books have been popular for decades, so it wasn’t really all that surprising.

A second wave (which are a little more spoiler-y and will focus on some of the movie’s other characters) is set to hit on the same day that Star Wars: The Force Awakens is released this December, and now Disney has revealed a series of tie-in books which feature new stills and promo art from the highly anticipated release.

For the time being, the focus is very much being kept on Rey, Finn, Kylo Ren, and BB-8, though there is a very welcome glimpse of Han Solo and Chewbacca as they’ll appear in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, too. Unfortunately, none of the images reveal any major plot details, but they do give us a great look at these characters and will no doubt reveal plenty inside when they’re released.
