Last night, the Luke Skywalker actor shared a message teasing some big news on the way, and the best part is that we only have a few hours to wait before we find out what he’s talking about:

“MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT TOMORROW 6:15pm PST I’ll be sharing some VERY EXCITING news about a super-secret project I’ve been working on that’s just…. how can I describe it? Oh, I know! It’s:  ‘Uh……… Wow. Just…….WOW.’ #WatchThisSpace”

Naturally, the tweet has been met with plenty of replies from fans hoping for Star Wars news, in which case, Hamill’s labeling of Episode IX as a “super-secret project” would presumably be sarcastic. Meanwhile, some commenters have responded with Joker GIFs, while others have speculated that the news may have something to do with the recent rumor that he’s being eyed for a role in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

Beyond those suggestions, Hamill has plenty more projects on the way, including TV shows The Last Kids on Earth and The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, as well as the TV movie Relatively Super. At the same time, if the project really is “super-secret,” then there’s a good chance that we haven’t even heard about it yet.

In short, we don’t know what Mark Hamill is teasing here, but we should find out by the end of the day. Either way, we can expect plenty of Star Wars-related news to emerge two weeks from now when this year’s Celebration kicks off in Chicago. After that, Luke returns to theaters with the release of Star Wars: Episode IX on December 20th, 2019.
