When Palpatine reached the absolute peak of his power during Empire Strikes Back, Ian McDiarmid’s former Chancellor ruled over the Empire from a Super Star Destroyer known as the Executor – a not so subtle nod to the Death Star, we imagine. But according to a new report compiled by Star Wars News Net (via Inverse), in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the First Order’s HQ will actually be located on a Mega Star Destroyer.

How do we know about this mammoth dreadnought? It’s included in the soon-to-be-released merchandise line for Force Friday (September 1st) and is listed as so: “BB-8 Mega Star Destroyer (with Supreme Leader Snoke and Elite Praetorian Guard).” It’s valued at a whopping $199.99 and while no further details or images were included in the report, it’s worth slapping on our tin foil hats and speculating about what this might mean for the events of Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

As you’ll no doubt recall, one of the more tangible rumors that emerged in light of The Last Jedi‘s inaugural teaser involved Finn and his “dark mission.” Don’t forget, John Boyega’s former Stormtrooper openly rebelled against the First Order, which leads us to believe that both he and Rose Tico (Kelly Marie Tran) wind up aboard that Mega Star Destroyer at some point in Rian Johnson’s sequel. Also, why is BB-8 listed in the toy’s description?

A trip to the casino city of Canto Bight is said to be on the cards as well, and though it’s more likely that Supreme Leader Snoke is housed up on his own mobile command post – and therefore not on board the Mega Star Destroyer – all signs point to Star Wars: The Last Jedi showcasing Andy Serkis’ humanoid alien in the flesh. And what a sight that’ll be.

When it comes to BB-8, that dinky little fan-favorite showed up alongside Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) in The Last Jedi‘s show-stopped first teaser, though it would appear the pint-sized droid is about to enjoy a fairly huge role come December. Perhaps it’ll go undercover?

All will be revealed when Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters on December 15th.
