Nipping at the heels of today’s international stingers, in which Rey struggled to contain her newfound abilities – much to the horror of a curious Luke Skywalker – this all-new preview ends on a lighter note, as we see Chewbacca backhand a porg in order to regain control of the Millennium Falcon.

For those of you who have been keeping up with The Last Jedi‘s trailer campaign, this frankly hilarious shot is awfully similar to the one where a porg echoes Chewie’s cry, as the Falcon soars through a shimmering cave on the planet Crait. Said to be the home of an old outpost once used by the Rebel Alliance – not to mention those crystal foxes (AKA vulptexs), which wouldn’t look out of place in a Pokémon collection – we imagine Crait will have a sizeable role to play in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, as the Resistance hunkers down to defend the base from the First Order’s gorilla walkers. Or AT-M6s, if we’re using the official terminology.

As for Chewie’s relationship with those saucer-eyed aliens…well, it’s tricky. The Last Jedi‘s behind-the-scenes featurette included a shot of the franchise’s so-called walking carpet with a white feather hanging on his lip. Perhaps he’s tucked into a delicious porg on Ahch-To? It’s certainly possible. Besides, with Rey off learning the ways of the Force, Chewbacca and Co. have to pass the time somehow.

Poised to become the longest film in the franchise, Star Wars: The Last Jedi shoots for theaters on December 15th. And only then will we have a better understanding of Snoke’s masterplan.
