While we’re fully well aware that the wait for Justice League is arguably harder to endure now more than ever due to opening weekend being right around the corner, the folks at Warner Bros. marketing are at least helping us pass the time.

Being the latest in a long line of posters the studio has rolled out in order to promote the silver screen debut of DC’s premier superhero team, this particular offering is somewhat different from those that have come before. We say that because Superman seemingly likes to pick and choose which group photos he appears in these days, with most posters being bereft of the Man of Steel, no doubt playing up the notion of his “death.”

This time, he’s still absent, but his presence is undoubtedly felt in this piece that has a rather cel-shaded feel to it. As we can see, Batman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg gather around the edges, forming a silhouette that unmistakably belongs to the Last Son of Krypton. What’s also cool about it is that it makes one recall Bruce Wayne repeatedly saying how they must honor Big Blue’s memory, with it literally looking like he’s lighting the way for them as an eternal beacon of hope.

And if that weren’t enough, the Scarlet Speedster seems to want to make sure you get the hint by pointing directly at the void. Or, he’s saying, “hey, man, you can’t save the world alone” while motioning toward the film’s tagline.

Justice League arrives in theaters on November 17.
