Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje really came to the public's' attention after starring as Mr. Eko in the Lost TV series, but has also appeared in the likes of Oz, GI: JOE - Rise of Cobra, and The Bourne Identity. His next role will arguably be his biggest yet, as he'll play notorious DC Comics villain Killer Croc in David Ayer's Suicide Squad movie.

Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje really came to the public’s’ attention after starring as Mr. Eko in the Lost TV series, but has also appeared in the likes of Oz, GI: JOE – Rise of Cobra and The Bourne Identity. His next role will arguably be his biggest yet though, as he’ll play notorious DC Comics villain Killer Croc in David Ayer’s Suicide Squad movie.

Though this marks the characters first live action appearance, he was also memorably utilized in the ever-popular Batman: The Animated series, and apparently, the actor took a look back at that as part of his research.Akinnuoye-Agbaje also confirms that we will indeed see Croc in his natural environment in the movie – and more than once.

“I looked at all of it. I went back to the young Waylon Jones. The animated series. I had my own take, too. I researched cannibalism. I actually went out and watched real crocodiles, too. We incorporated some of the real life fight techniques that crocodiles do when they kill their prey. The death roll.

Oh, you’re going to get more than one water scene! I’m a croc after all, man. That’s my territory!”
