Talking To The Cast Of Beyond The Lights At The NYC Premiere

Arriving in theatres last weekend was Beyond the Lights, a powerful and moving film anchored by a tremendous performance from Gugu Mbatha-Raw, who plays Noni, a musical superstar who soon succumbs to the pressures of the industry. Fortunately, she crosses paths with Kaz (Nate Parker), and they quickly fall for each other. A couple of days ago, the cast of Beyond The Lights touched down in NYC for a red carpet premiere. While there, we caught up with both Mbatha-Raw and Parker to discuss their terrific new film. They spoke about preparing for their roles, what ideas they were trying to explore and much more.
