This week in Los Angeles the purple carpet was rolled out for the world premiere of Justin Bieber’s Believe. It’s the pop singer’s second film and is once again helmed by director Jon M. Chu, who is also responsible for the recent G.I. Joe: Retaliation. Releasing on Wednesday, the documentary will follow the Biebs as he embarks on his Believe tour and contends with the various forms of negative press that he’s been attracting over the last year or so.

Scoring a last minute invite, we were on hand to cover the film’s world premiere (which took place on December 18th). Though we didn’t get a chance to talk to the main man himself (Justin skipped the entire press line, opting to only pose for a couple photos before heading into the theatre), we did catch up with Mr. Chu as well as several special guests who were walking the purple carpet, including singer Madison Beer, Olympic athlete Gabby Douglas, actor Christopher Meloni and more.

Check out our coverage of the premiere in the video below and be sure to catch Justin Bieber’s Believe when it hits theatres next week on December 25th!
