First spotted by MCU News & Tweets, there appears to be some debate over the source of this alleged logline – some believe it’s an old quote from Kevin Feige masquerading as the sequel’s synopsis, though a quick Google search says otherwise.

Whatever the case, it’s a pretty accurate description of what will surely be one of the biggest movies of 2019, as this preliminary logline teases some of the sacrifices and epic journeys that lie in wait. Moreover, the mention of our heroes and their fragile grip on reality will no doubt fuel those time travel theories ricocheting off the walls of the Internet.

Via Licensing Magazine:

A culmination of 22 interconnected films, the fourth installment of the Avengers saga will draw audiences to witness the turning point of this epic journey. Our beloved heroes will truly understand how fragile this reality is, and the sacrifices that must be made to uphold it.

Behind the scenes, the likes of Christoper Markus and Stephen McFeely have drafted up a suitably epic conclusion to this current installment of the MCU, beginning with strong story arcs for those characters left by the wayside during Infinity War. Here’s looking at you, Hawkeye.

Via Collider:

We’ve said this before: the idea that some characters have great stories in the second movie. And we also gave ourselves permission to use both movies to tell complete arcs for the characters. And that might mean that somebody like Cap or Natasha you might feel like, ‘Oh, they didn’t have as much to do as say Thor or Doctor Strange, and that surprises me.’ It’s likely because they have a lot to do in the next one.

One thing we do know, however, is that Avengers 4 will be with us on May 3rd, 2019. And it’ll herald a true turning point for the MCU, regardless of whether this alleged synopsis proves to be legit.
