The 23 Jump Street/Men In Black Movie Is Actually Happening
Remember that proposed 23 Jump Street/Men In Black crossover film that seemed too crazy to be true? Well, turns out it’s actually happening, and with director James Bobin at the helm. Though it hasn’t received an official green light just yet, the studio is very interested in pushing forward with it and have already begun talks with Bobin.
The plan is to start shooting the crossover in June, with Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill set to reprise their roles. Unfortunately, Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith won’t be involved, as Sony wants “younger, fresher faces” for the film.
Of course, there aren’t any concrete plot details to report on just yet, but we’re certainly eager to see how this all plays out. It does sound like a wild idea, sure, but with Tatum and Hill on board, I think the project is in good hands. The two actors have impeccable chemistry and they can make almost anything work. So, as of now, we’re feeling pretty optimistic about the planned 23 Jump Street/Men In Black crossover.
What do you think, though? Is it a good idea, or too crazy to work? Sound off below and let us know.
