Not for the first time, the cast of Paramount’s upcoming Baywatch reboot are getting in the holiday spirit and on this particular occasion, it involves All Hallow’s Eve.
Bearing the hashtag ‘#Boowatch’, today’s two character posters are accompanied by an early look at Quantico star Priyanka Chopra. Again, the pic stays true to the Halloween spirit, and therefore doesn’t give us much of an indication of Chopra’s actual character, but we do know she’s attached to the part of Victoria Leeds, a powerful business magnate and oil tycoon who seeks to take control of the sun-kissed Bay and exploit it for monetary gain.
Standing in her way are the “Avengers of the Beach,” a squad of lifeguards comprised of Dwayne Johnson as Mitch Buchannon, Jon Bass, Alex Daddario – reuniting with Johnson after their collaboration for San Andreas – Zac Efron, Kelly Rohrbach and Ilfenesh Hadera. Baywatch veterans Pamela Anderson and David Hasselhoff will also appear in the R-rated comedy, though details of those cameos are being kept under lock and key for the moment.
Look for Baywatch to make a beeline into theaters on May 19, 2017.
