‘The Marvels’ first-look trailer finally solves a mystery that’s been driving fans crazy

Teaming up changes everything and everyone.

Just months after the MCU ushers in its new evil mastermind in the form of Kang the Conqueror and unleashes him upon its unsuspecting inhabitants, The Marvels will be joining the fray, bringing together Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, and the now-superpowerful Monica Rambeau. And breaking free of all secrecy it has been wrapped in for months is its long overdue official trailer, which is finally here and giving fans a proper look at the fresh hell the trio will be facing in the film.

The Marvels will pick up right after Ms. Marvel’s mysterious post-credit scene where we saw Carol swapping places with Kamala Khan when the latter was tinkering with her magical bangle. Apparently, something connects the three superheroes, so much so that every time they use their powers, they immediately and rather involuntarily switch places with each other — a snafu that ultimately brings the trio together.

Iman Vellani looks to be having the time of her life as a fangirling Kamala Khan, who gets beamed into deep space and quickly finds herself out of her depth compared to the more experienced Monica and Carol. Nevertheless, it looks like her addictive heart and sense of wonder will play an enormous role in uniting the three leads as a new galactic threat emerges.

Beyond that, the stage is set to perfection with upbeat stylings, a litter of Goose babies, and a threat that remains as mysterious now as it was before the trailer; indeed, Marvel fans are going to be eating well this fall.

The Marvels is all set to hit theaters on Nov. 10.
