The MCU’s very first F-bomb was almost dropped by a highly unlikely candidate

We've got a feeling 'Deadpool 3' will more than make up for the shortfall.

As a PG-13 franchise, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is well within its rights to drop a token F-bomb in any project it wants, but so far Kevin Feige’s all-conquering comic book conglomerate has opted against turning the air blue.

That being said, we’ve got the sneaking suspicion that Deadpool 3 is poised to more than make up for that shortfall by unleashing a torrent of foul-mouthed abuse when it finally comes to theaters in November of 2024, but it turns out that the superhero saga’s most recent blockbuster came mighty close to getting there first.

The 259-page initial script for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has been released online, and with it, fans have been scouring every page for details that failed to make the final cut. Prime among them is Dominique Thorne’s Riri Williams waking up in Talokan to be greeted by one of Namor’s people, to which she exclaims “who the f*ck is that? Oh god, why is she blue?!”

It would have been a unique honor for an MCU debutant to land the maiden F-bomb 30 features in, but it’s easy to see why it was excised by the time Wakanda Forever came to theaters. The mandatory f*ck in plenty of PG-13 films has felt forced to the point of unintentional hilarity, and Feige isn’t one to shoehorn things in just for the sake of them.

That doesn’t mean we wouldn’t have loved to hear it, though, seeing as it would have garnered one hell of a reaction from shocked audiences completely unprepared for such a milestone moment.
