The Wachowskis Will Write And Direct Hood, Will Smith May Star

Here's some interesting news. The Wachowskis, who already have their plate full with Cloud Atlas and CN-9, have now signed on for another project. The Wachowskis are set to write and direct Hood, which is being described as 'a modern, urban retelling of Robin Hood'. To make matters even more interesting, they've apparently approached Will Smith in hopes that he'll take the lead role. Joel Silver is set to produce and the film is set up at Warner Bros. Nothing else is really known about the film but this news is definitely intriguing. The Wachowskis are amongst the most ambitious and interesting filmmakers out there and this project seems like it could have a lot of potential. Stay tuned and we'll keep you updated.
