‘There’s one specific character’: A James Gunn regular knows exactly where they’ll fit into the DCU

And there will be many more to come.

With James Gunn now in the midst of putting the first building blocks in place for the DCU’s incoming overhaul by securing his Clark Kent and Lois Lane for Superman: Legacy, the floodgates of speculation regarding the rest of the ensemble are wide open.

As much as his critics use it as a means to attack him on a personal professional level, there’s inevitably going to be a handful of regular collaborators who end up making the jump alongside him, with Guardians of the Galaxy veteran and The Suicide Squad guest star Pom Klementieff seemingly already aware of which role she’s been earmarked for, as she revealed to The Movie Dweeb.

“We’ve been talking about it. There’s one specific character that James Gunn’s thinking of. It would continue doing action too.”

Mercy Graves has long been touted by fans as a potential part for Klementieff to play in the DCU, and with her ass-kicking credentials not up for debate following her Marvel Cinematic Universe run and Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, it would make a lot of sense.

However, a left-field rumor has claimed out of nowhere that DC is planning to develop a Huntress solo movie entirely in Korean with a Korean cast and crew, which could hypothetically be another option given that Klementieff’s mother hails from the country, although there’s not a single shred of solid evidence to back up that particular sinew of scuttlebutt as of yet.
