The crime blockbuster was released on the Dec. 7, 2001 and boasts an all-star cast, including Pitt, George Clooney, Matt Damon, Julia Roberts, and Casey Affleck. Due to the film’s large success, it was then approved for the sequels Ocean’s Twelve and Ocean’s Thirteen as well as the female-led spinoff Ocean’s Eight.
Since the movie’s release, Pitt has gone on to star in other iconic projects including Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Inglourious Basterds, and 12 Years a Slave. His dedication and talent finally landed him an Oscar in 2020 for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of Cliff Booth in the renowned Quentin Tarantino film Once Upon a Time…In Hollywood.
