Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few weeks, you’ve likely seen all the commotion caused by Justin’s initial Tweet, which called out Cruise for reasons unknown, and warned that the Top Gun star “will never live it down” if he refuses Bieber’s challenge. Heck, the Biebs even tagged Dana White in the tweet, who’s current president of the UFC, and it looks like he’s interested in helping to put together what some are already calling the fight of the century.

At the time of going to press, the 56-year-old Cruise hasn’t officially accepted what Justin’s proposing, but sources close to the actor have said that he’s interested and now, we’re learning that he’s likely to hop in the ring with Bieber. Or at least, he’s willing to do so if the UFC can make it happen.

Apparently, Ari Emanuel, the co-CEO of the William Morris Endeavor agency, who also own the UFC, called Scooter Braun, who manages Bieber and he told Emanuel that the singer is definitely down. Ari also spoke to White about the logistics of setting something like this up, and apparently, he can’t wait to do it. In fact, White even told Emanuel the following on the phone:

“This would be an epic fight that needs to happen. I’d be an idiot not to make this fight. That would be the easiest fight to ever promote in the history of my career.”

But it gets better, as Emanuel has said that he strongly believes that Cruise would agree to it and at this point, is just waiting on the official word from the actor’s camp. Which we imagine will arrive soon now that this whole thing is picking up a ton of steam.

All of that’s to say that this fight is very likely going to happen and quite frankly, we can’t wait to see it. The only question is, who’ll emerge victorious: Justin Bieber, or Tom Cruise? Sound off with your own pick in the comments section down below.
