Another week, another group of photos from the Atlanta set of Spider-Man: Homecoming. While not as large a batch as last time, these new pics, which can be viewed in the gallery below, still give us a great look at Tom Holland, or it may be a stuntman, actually, in full costume as the iconic hero. Either way, it’s nice to see another crystal clear shot of the webhead’s suit.
In related news, Sony Pictures head honcho Tom Rothman recently spoke about the film, revealing a few details to IGN. Nothing major was spoiled, but he did say that Michael Keaton hasn’t shot his scenes yet, and that the movie will feature a Homecoming dance (obviously). Rothman spoke a bit about Tom Holland and Spidey coming back to Marvel as well, and you can check it all out in the video below:
Sounds like Rothman has nothing but praise for Spider-Man: Homecoming. Then again, it’s not like he’d bad mouth the film even if he wasn’t pleased with how it was coming along. Still, with the cast that’s assembled here and the character coming back to Marvel, you’ve got to believe that things will turn out alright. We’ve already seen a hint of what Holland can bring to the role in Civil War and having him be the centre of the story for the character’s solo outing should be a real treat for fans.
Spider-Man: Homecoming stars Tom Holland, Robert Downey Jr., Marisa Tomei, Michael Keaton, Logan Marshall-Green, Donald Glover, Kenneth Choi, Hannibal Buress, Michael Mando, Bokeem Woodbine, Abraham Attah, Tony Revolori and Zendaya, among others. It will be released on July 7th, 2017.
