New Trailer And Poster For Takashi Miike’s 13 Assassins
Today we get a new trailer and poster for Takashi Miike’s 13 Assassins, which is hitting theatres on April 29th. Miike is an interesting filmmaker and anytime he releases something new it’s usually a big deal. Despite our poor review on 13 Assassins, most of the buzz surrounding the film is very positive.
I generally enjoy Miike’s films so I’m remaining optimistic about 13 Assassins. From watching the trailer it’s clear that Miike was inspired by Akira Kurosawa’s Seven Samurai, which could be a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it. Anyways, decide for yourself.
